Obituary Helen “Mimi” Tillman Dozier, 90, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 21st, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on April 20th, 1935, to JW and Letha Tillman,

 

Helen was a 1953 graduate of Auburndale High School and went on to work as an office assistant for many years. She later became a proud Mary Kay Director, a role she held for 25 years - earning multiple pink cars and building lifelong friendships along the way. A woman of strong faith, she was a devoted member of Christ Community Church of Winter Haven.

 

Helen was married to the late Ed Dozier, and they shared 35 beautiful years together before his passing in 2005. Helen was the mother of ten children: Mike, Carol, Diane, Cheryl, Benny, Tilena, Stephen, Melanie, Leah, and Del; sister to Shellie; and grandmother and great-grandmother to a multitude of children. She loved spending time with family, visiting tea rooms, attending her Tuesday morning Bible study, and water aerobics at the YMCA with her Silver Sneaker friends.

 

A service celebrating Helen’s life will be held at Oak Ridge Funeral Care of Winter Haven on Saturday, June 28th, 2025, at 2:00 pm for visitation , 3:00 pm service,   followed by her final resting place at Auburndale Cemetery.
