Benny Silva Jr., a devoted father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, passed away on June 19, 2025, at the age of 53. Born on May 7, 1972, Benny lived a life full of love, laughter, and loyalty to those he cared about.
He is survived by his father, Benny Silva Sr.; his brother, James Silva; his daughter, Alexis Gentry; his son-in-law, Daniel Caldera; and his beloved grandchildren, Josiahas Caldera and Elijah Caldera. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Silva.
Benny was a lifelong Denver Broncos fan who never missed a game. He had a deep love for fishing, enjoyed building model cars, and took pride in his unique collection of Little Homies figures. These hobbies brought him joy, peace, and a way to express his personality and creativity.
More than anything, Benny will be remembered for his huge heart, his ability to bring laughter to any situation, and his unwavering support for the people in his life. No matter what he was going through, he always showed up for others with a smile, a joke, and an open heart.
Benny’s warmth, humor, and kindness touched many lives. His memory will live on in the stories shared, the love he gave, and the laughter he brought to so many.
