In Loving Memory of Marion "Myra" Van Der Reyden
Marion “Myra” Van Der Reyden passed away on June 14, 2025. She was born in Scotland on April 10, 1945. She married John Van Der Reyden on March 19, 1971 and enjoyed forty-five years together traveling around the world. Her husband died on February 17, 2016. They immigrated to the United States and lived in Miami, FL for many years before moving to Davenport, FL in June, 2011.
Myra was an avid tennis player while living in Miami.
Myra did not have any close relatives but truly enjoyed many treasured friendships including Barbara and Don Migliore, Davenport, FL, Nancy Lee and Daryl Bowser of Miami, FL, Patricia Holmes, Scotland, Patricia Klotz, New Hampshire, and Barbara Rodenrys, California.
She and husband have requested their ashes be scattered in the ocean at Key Largo, Fl.
Memorial contributions may be made to the George C. Forsythe Hospice House (Good Shepherd), 405 Arenson Avenue, Auburndale, FL 33823.
