Diane K. Munns

Diane K. Munns, 78, of Fort Atkinson, WI, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025. Diane was born on February 2, 1947, the daughter of the late Earl and Marles (Henning) Staude.

After attending Jefferson High School until her Junior year, Diane graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 1965. Diane worked at North Shore Inn, Fort Atkinson, as a waitress and Fort Memorial Hospital, in the food service department, both for over 30 years before her retirement.

On September 25, 2004, Diane married her loving husband Roger Munns at Bethany Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson, where Diane was a long-time member.

Diane was a proud grandmother and great-grandmother and loved being surrounded by her family or their photos when they couldn’t be there in person. She enjoyed camping and going dancing with Roger. Diane also enjoyed her flower garden and traveling when she could.

Diane is survived by her husband Roger Munns; children Sheila (Steve) Carnes, Jefferson, WI, Stacie (Dan) Allard, Fort Atkinson, WI, Chad (Veronica) Lange, River View, FL, Christopher (Caron) Munns, Carrolton, TX, and Kelly (Eric) Peloquin, Pheonix, AZ; grandchildren Samantha, Karissa (Mackenzie), Garrett (Klaudia), Myranda (Kyle), Aaron (Hannah), Emily, Caralise, and Chloe; great-grandchildren Axel, Archie, Addison, Weston, Brooklyn, and Nova; siblings Ronna (Richard) Johnson, Lynn (Cindy) Staude, and Lee Staude; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Bethany Lutheran Church, 404 Roosevelt St, Fort Atkinson, WI 53538, with a visitation before from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM.

A special thank you to Sarah Padigireddy and Rainbow Hospice and to Alden Estates and the Nursing and CNA Staff in the 300 wing for all the support and care they provided to Diane.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Rainbow Hospice or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
