In Loving Memory of Sadie Marquez With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Sadie Marquez on June 16, 2025. Born on June 24, 1947, in Brighton, Colorado, Sadie was the daughter of Adelina Sandoval and Margarito Montano, and one of 11 siblings. She is survived by her sons Michael Torres, Jesse Marquez, and Raymond Marquez, along with many cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Sandra Martinez. Sadie endured many hardships throughout her life with remarkable strength and resilience. She found joy in cooking, bingo, shopping, dancing, and music—especially as a devoted Elvis Presley fan. Her happiest moments were spent staying up late, laughing and sharing stories with her family. Her family will forever treasure the love, laughter, and memories they shared with her. Sadie will be deeply missed. Memorial services will be held on June 30, 2025, at Romero’s Funeral Home, 4750 Tejon St., Denver, CO 80211. Family viewing begins at 10:00 a.m., with services to follow. Burial at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, 12801 W. 44th Ave., Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.
