Nitardy Funeral Homes - Fort Atkinson
Louise Irene Finn
December 4th, 1925 - June 25th, 2025
It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, and friend, Louise Irene Finn, who was received into eternal life on Wednesday, June 25, 2025.
Louise was a remarkable woman whose life spanned nearly a century of change, growth, and love. Born December 4, 1925, to Thomas and Elizabeth (Geitner) Hitch of Palmyra, WI, she witnessed and contributed to a world in constant motion, yet remained a steadfast presence for everyone blessed to know her.
She dedicated herself to her loved ones, nurturing generations with wisdom, grace, and endless love. She believed in faith, prayer, hard work, and the power of simple joys.
Louise married her high school sweetheart, Kenneth Willing, in September 1945 and worked side by side with him on the family farm until his passing in 2000. On her 79th birthday in 2004, she married Woodard Finn. Woody also preceded her in death in July 2005.
She is lovingly remembered by her son Terry (Helen) Willing, daughter Katie (Greg) Stahl, and her daughter-in-law Lori (Larry) Willing, all of Jefferson; grandchildren: Lynn Willing, Laura (Craig) Fitzpatrick, Heather Frengley, Tracy (Peter) Roub, Brian (Krista) Willing, Alicia (Justin) Gobel, Adrian Willing, Abigail (Brett) Dunkleberger, and Elizabeth (Colton) Ehrke; thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Louise was preceded in death by her son Larry Willing; eight siblings Doris Spitzer, Hazel Davis, Elsie Sahr, Ralph Hitch, Howard Hitch, Edward Hitch, Harvey Hitch, Eugene Hitch, and many other family and friends.
A burial service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery on Wednesday, July 9, at 11 a.m., with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you perform a kind gesture for someone in need or give to a charity of your choosing.
We would like to thank Alden Estates in Jefferson and Agrace Hospice for loving and caring for our mother.

We Entrusted Louise Finn's Care To
Nitardy Funeral Homes - Fort Atkinson
We have proudly served the Southern Wisconsin community for over 90 years, when Hilmar A. Nitardy opened his first funeral home in the area. In 1984, his son Russ knew it was time to offer professional, compassionate services to the Fort Atkinson community, and we constructed a new funeral home to address its needs. We feel so fortunate to be a part of the community, and have grown our family alongside the community for three generations....
