Lorraine Dahl, 97, of Carlton, MN, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at Inter-faith Care Center. She was born on April 11, 1928 in Silver Township to Steve and Elizabeth Sobczak. The family lived on a farm in Kettle River. Lorraine married Carl R. Dahl on January 28, 1950 and together they moved to Duluth, eventually moving to Wrenshall. She worked in Carlton at Sterns, Elliots Meats, and other various jobs. Her church was St. John’s Lutheran Church in Wrenshall. Lorraine enjoyed bowling, knitting, working on puzzles and gardening.  

 

 In addition to being preceded by her parents, she is also preceded by husband, Carl Dahl; son, Dale Alan Dahl; and daughter-in-law, Linda.  

 

 She will be missed by sons, Gary Dahl and Duane (Sharon) Dahl; grandchildren, Kimberly, Stephanie, Ryan, Shannon and Tara; 6 great grandchildren; brother, Johnny Sobczak; sisters; Pat Swarmer, Delores Warner, and Betty Nelson.
