Jeffrey John Smith

Jeffrey John Smith, age 48, passed away unexpectedly on July 23, 2022. He was born on April 10, 1974, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Alan and Carol Smith.

Jeff is survived by his sons, Mason (10) and Elliot (7), and their mother, Nicole Smith. He is also survived by his parents, Alan and Carol Smith; his brother, Chris Smith and his wife, Michelle; and his nephew and niece, Jake and Ella Smith.

A graduate of Mounds View High School, Jeff went on to attend North Dakota State University before launching a successful career in Hospitality IT. His work brought him around the globe, supporting hotel openings in Las Vegas, Macau, and Hong Kong. He most recently made his home in the Dallas, Texas area. Jeff lived life fully and without hesitation. He found joy in fishing, golfing, and spending time with friends and family 'Up North.' More than anything, he loved being a dad and could often be found cheering from the sidelines, proudly watching Mason and Elliot play sports. He was deeply devoted to his family and especially cherished his role as a father and uncle.

A private memorial service was held at the family's request.

Jeff's energy, sense of humor, and unwavering love for his children will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
