Eric Omar Hernandez, of Haines City, FL passed away on July 18, 2025. He was born on May 3, 1967, in Manhattan, NY to Miguel Angel Hernandez and Carmen Oria Quinones. Eric relocated to Florida in December 2020 from Bethlehem, PA, and was employed with Lineage Logistics as a warehouse generalist. He was of the Christian faith.

Eric was a man who loved the outdoors. Whether it was early morning or late evening, if there was water nearby, you could find him fishing. He also enjoyed breakdancing, spending time at the beach, and cooking meals for his loved ones. A proud and devoted fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, Eric was known for his vibrant spirit and generous heart. He lived every day with purpose, never took anything for granted, and regularly gave to the homeless.

His family will forever remember him as a selfless, loving, and spirited man. Eric had a natural gift for making others laugh, lifting spirits wherever he went. He was spontaneous, outgoing, and above all else, devoted to his wife, children, parents, siblings, and especially his grandchildren—they were the light of his life.

He is preceded in death by his brother Richard Arroyo. Eric leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Carmen Angelica Hernandez of Haines City, FL; parents, Miguel Angel Hernandez of Puerto Rico and Carmen Oria Quinones of Lake Wales, FL; children, Erica Juliana Hernandez of Quakertown, PA, Eric Omar Hernandez of Allentown, PA, Eric Hernandez of Bethlehem, PA, Joseph Jonathan (Naisha) Miranda of Davenport, FL, Cynthia Angelica (Jerry) Eugene of Haines City, FL; siblings, Luis Medero, Miguel Angel Hernandez, Estrella (Richard) Hyman, and Rocio Del Pilar Hernandez; and grandchildren, Anayaliz Berdecia, Malan Burgos, Izak Miranda, Etienne Eugene, Odin Burgos, Owen Burgos, and Isabella Miranda.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 2:00 pm, with a gathering of family and friends from 12:00 to 2:00 pm, all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, FL.
