July 13th, 1952 - July 29th, 2025
Elizabeth A. Beasley of Winter Haven passed away on Tuesday, July 29. She was 73.
A native of Winter Haven, born July 13, 1952 to John and Cathryn Clark Peters, she has been a lifelong resident of the area. Beth was a lifelong member of Grace Lutheran Church. She taught fourth grade for many years at Lake Shipp Elementary, before retiring from Polk County Schools. Beth graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 1974 but, was always a Florida Gator at heart. Her greatest joy was her family, including her many fur babies.
Beth is preceded in death by her husband Jim Beasley, her son Tim Beasley, her sister Cathy Birthisel and her parents John and Cathryn Peters.
She is survived by her nephews Mike Birthisel of Winter Haven and Shane (Beth) Birthisel of Auburndale.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 5, from 9 to 10:00 am at Grace Lutheran Church. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 am. Interment will be at Rolling Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Grace Lutheran Church to the Tim Beasley Memorial Fund.
