Obituary �To everything there is a season and a Time to every purpose under the heaven�. Julia Ann Stirling (Naughton) 83 yrs old Passed away peacefully at her home In Boulder Colorado. She was born in Chicago , Illinois To proud parents :Sylvia Naughton (Lahti) and Thomas E. Naughton Sr. a 33 year veteran of the Chicago Police Dept. She married Ronald Brubaker in 1955 and was widowed in 1964. Her passion was education , as a honor roll student and later earning a masters degree. She began her career as a elementary school teacher in Chicago . She moved to Colorado in 1969 and married Michael Stirling. She taught 1st grade at Crestview Elementary School until retirement in 1991. With a twinkle in her blue eyes and a smile for everyone she met ,she became a world class traveler . Everyone she met became a friend , the bus driver or the lady in the gift shop Julia connected with . Interested in each persons story she took time to listen validating a persons journey . She is proceeded in death by her parents, her brother Tom Naughton Jr. her son Thomas Stirling(Brubaker) her youngest daughter Mary Gontarz has been missing since 1997. She is survived by her dear friend Barbra Poston , her sister Kathleen Naughton , son Timothy Stirling , daughter Colleen Dowdy , Grandchildren :Angelica Evans , Tim M.Stirling, Johnathan Eisworth , Ron Evans and 5 great grandchildren .
