Obituary Clarence Corky Davey August 1943 - October 2019 "All we have is time." - Corky Corky was surrounded by family when he went away to be with Jesus on Sunday, October 13, 2019. Corky was born in Rapid City, South Dakota to Clifford and Lois Davey and big brother Robert Davey. He was the beloved husband of Kathryn Davey for 54 years and the father of 5 children Ken Davey, Pamela (Dave) Bellows, Troy Davey, Rob (Jessica) Davey, and Summer (Justus) Milacek. Lyons, Colorado was his home for 28 years. The mountain he lived on brought him great peace and solitude. Corky had many talents. The most notable was that he was a hard worker. He was a block mason, tool & die machinist, aerospace machinist, and an avid sports fan. He was a talented fastpitch softball player and was known for his fast ball - 90 mph! His love of sports showed in his co-coaching of the Lyons softball team alongside his son Troy. Corky took extreme pride in his grandchildren Brittney (Brennan) Bourne, Dylan (Tabitha) Bellows, Hannah Bellows, Brooklyn Davey, and Solene Milacek. These children made his heart smile. Throughout his life Corky worked at becoming a better husband, father, and the man God wanted him to be. Corkys celebration of life service will on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. at Calvary Church 2101 Gay St. Longmont, Colorado 80501. The service will be held in the Fireside Room. The family would like to thank God for our children & grandchildren, Calvary Church, Kathryns & Kens Sunday School Classes, & friends for ALL they have done to facilitate safety for our family.
