For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. - John 3:16

Our beloved son, Brendan Cole Darnall, age 28, of Colorado Springs passed away peacefully on March 4th, 2024.

He was born on March 21st, 1995, to Billy and Brenda Darnall in Colorado Springs.

He recently graduated from the University of Arizona (Global Campus) with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and was enjoying his new job with Lumen Technologies. Brendan was extremely active with Roswell Community Church and loved working with and teaching children. He was involved in Children’s church, Awanas, Vacation Bible School, and attended young adult groups. He had a passion for video games and watching sports. He loved golfing, bowling, playing cards, and board games (and winning). His favorite sports teams were the Raiders, Lakers, and New York Yankees. This Colorado boy loved the coastal teams. He was a foodie and critic (sometimes painfully so). Brendan had a very generous heart and touched so many lives and we will miss him greatly.

Brendan is survived by his father, Billy Darnall; mother, Brenda Darnall; brother, Britton Darnall; grandmother, Darlene Darnall; grandfather, Allan Hamlin; aunts, Darla Darnall, Kris Hamlin, and Jessica Valdez; uncles, Matt Darnall, Steve Darnall, Kurt Hamlin, and Chad Hamlin; cousins, Michael Hamlin, Nicole Hamlin, Kalai Hamlin, Brandon Smith, Hope Hamlin, Grace Hamlin, Mason Hamlin, Cory Harrington, Cody English, Madison Darnall, Morgan Darnall, Trey Valdez, and Avery Valdez.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bill Darnall; and his grandmother, Shirley Hamlin.

Funeral Service, 10:00AM, Monday, March 18, 2024, Roswell Community Church, 2728 Beacon Street, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80907.

Burial to follow.

Following the burial ceremony, a “pizza party” reception will be held back at Roswell Community Church to celebrate one of Brendan’s favorite Awanas events.

We offer our heartfelt thanks for your prayers and support during this time.
