Richard Louis Herrera, 57, of Denver, CO passed away on 3/10/2024 after a long battle with cancer.
Richard was born November 25, 1966 to Joe Gerald Herrera and Antoinette Marie Olvera in Denver, CO.
Richard was predeceased by his father, Joe Gerald Herrera, mother, Antoinette Marie Herrera, brother David Herrera, nephews Tomas and Demetrius Cruz and niece Michelle Cruz.
He is survived by his wife, Rosanna Herrera, children, Jesse Arellano, Brittany Herrera and Cristian Herrera. His granddaughters, Alexia Arellano, Deysi Arellano and Isbella Anderson Herrera. His siblings; Susan Garcia, John (Irene) Herrera, Dolores Alva (Rudy Uvalle), Vicky Herrera, Frances “Pitsy” (Jerry) Gomez, Geri Herrera, Carmen Herrera, Joey (Rosalinda) Herrera, Mario (Barbie) Herrera.
Richard was a cherished beacon in the lives of many. He was not just a friend; he was everyone's favorite person, a rock and the brother we all wish we had. His radiant light and boundless love left an indelible mark on our hearts.
Richard was a father figure to more than just his children, embodying strength, kindness and unwavering support. His spirit of resilience and compassion became a source of inspiration. His laughter resonated through our gatherings, turning them into cherished moments.
He listened without judgement, extending a helping hand without hesitation and shared stories that brought joy and laughter until tears flowed. Richard's genuine friendship transcended the ordinary, creating bonds that will forever be etched in our hearts.
