Robert Edward Montoya went to be with the Lord on February 8, 2018 in Denver. He was born in Denver to Sammy Joseph and Beatrice (Griego) Montoya on April 15, 1950. He is preceded in death by his parents; son Mark Roe; sister Linda Marie Montoya; and nephew Derrick Romero. He is survived by his children Robert Montoya Jr. and Angela Montoya; siblings Jacquelyn Montoya and Ramona Miley; grandchildren Jesse Ninneman, DJ Ninneman, Daysun Ninneman, July Ninneman, David Ninneman, Mariah Montano, Remy Montoya, and Livi Montoya. He loved the New York Times crossword puzzles, seduko, reading, and writing. His family described him as a deep thinker, respectful, quiet, very articulate. He had a great sense of humor and was gifted in telling. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
