Memorial

Marco passed into glory on Monday December 5, 2016 at his home in Northglen, CO. He was 44. Marco was born March 1, 1972 to David Marco Cuffaro and Martha S. Cuffaro. Marco worked at various jobs in the food industry, in malls, and a pawnshop. He enjoyed watching and playing sports - basketball, football, fishing, and weightlifting. Marco was the first of three children, his ancestors immigrated from Sicily, Mexico and Ireland. The Cuffaro family was close knit. Marco enjoyed family outings - fishing, camping, picnics and visiting with family and friends. Marco was a devoted husband and father. He was full of life, joy and laughter. If you were around him he would encourage you or make you laugh. He was very inquisitive and loved discovering things. Marco graduated from Palomar High School and then worked his first job at KFC where he progressed into management. Over the years Marco was faced with many challenges and moved through life where he experienced being homeless, slept in the cold of winter outdoors and lived in a homeless shelter while working in the Boulder Mall. He eventually rose from being homeless coming out better for it. He was, born-again and frequently would remind family he spoke to Jesus regularly. He loved helping others, and was generous with the little he had. Marco was always ready to help people often helping someone who was down on their luck or homeless. He was a very hard worker, loved his work. His life was centered around friends and family. Everyone Marco knew held him in high regard. He was appreciated for his positive outlook, attitude and encouraging others. There was a natural order of God's beauty in his life. Marco reveled in helping others and encouraging people, making them laugh. In his walk with Jesus each day, he found the substance it took to carry out the plans of the Savior and His grace. God used Marco for good, helping others along his path. Only God searches the hearts of men, to see if there is someone who will lend a helping hand. Those who knew Marco always received encouraging words, a smile and plenty of laughter. We know he triumphs on with Jesus at this very moment, now cheering us on to run our race to win the prize of the sure calling of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Marco was a Private in God's army, used in God's plans to help the helpless, meeting needs of the suffering. God sends us out victorious on a chartered course to reach the lost in this world. If you look close, you may see the Savior walks beside us daily for all to see. Poem A man of fourty-four still young at heart No one ever thought it was your time to part Through all of my life you have been there, With a shoulder to cry on to show me you cared I will miss you always know this is true, For no one will ever love me like you, I have a heart pillow, from him, you see, He said it was "His Heart" as he packed it for me. Now I will always have a piece of him, To carry in life through thick and thin. So, I say good-bye after all these years, It's so hard for me to fight back the tears, My eyes water and the tears will come, But the cherished memories of you will never be undone!
