Vivian Gallegos passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 24, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was 95 years old. Vivian was born in Park City Utah on March 20, 1926, to Faustine Casias and Elvira Romero. She was one of 9 children. Vivian married Alfonso Gallegos on April 25, 1944. Vivian is survived by her children Vera (Joe) Vigil, Victoria Montono, Janet Gallegos, and Alfonso Gallegos, her siblings Corinne Casias, Felix Casias, and Silvia Pollock, her grandchildren Carl Belew Jr., Flower Bettini, Marcia Apadaca, Manuel Apadaca, Miriam Gallegos, Cathy Gallegos, Derek Gallegos, and Joseph Gallegos, her great-grandchildren James, Merisa, Megan, Morgan, Jesse, Darian, Dominick, Devon, Dillon, Leon, Gianni, Rosline, Raisa, and great great-grandchildren Deamyn, Laniah, Leilani, Maurcio, Riot, Dillon Jr. and numerous nieces and nephews. Vivian was preceded in death by her husband Alfonso Gallegos, her daughter Frances Belew, her parents Faustine Casias and Elvira Romero, her siblings Stella Garcia, Arthur Casias, Mary Dillon, Ernesto Casias and Helen Alires, her grandson Joseph Vigil, her great-granddaughter Nevaeh Gallegos, and her dog Baby. Vivian is the lifeline to our family. She will be forever missed. Family and friends are invited to a funeral service on August 3, 2021, at Fort Logan National Cemetary Staging Area A, 4400 W Kenyon Ave. Denver, CO 80236. Celebration of life reception immediately following at American GI Forum Skyline 158 S Federal Blvd. Denver, CO 80219. We also ask if you are not fully vaccinated, please wear a mask. Please line up at 12:45.
