Johnny Steve Mares was entered into ETERNAL LIFE April 12th, 2018, at the age of 54. He was born into life April 28,1963 to John Mares and Theodora Rael in Denver, Co. Some nicknames he went by are "Baby John", "Cool Breeze" and "The Legend". He loved many things in life including the Denver Broncos, Rockies, boxing, dogs, birds, his neighborhood (THE WESTSIDE) and most important, his family and friends. He is survived by his 4 children; Johnny Mares, Mark Mares, Matthew Polson, and Brandy Mares; 12 grandchildren; Shania, Elijah, Gianni, Jericho, Serenity, Mark Jr., Nariah, Hezekiah, Javen, Jordan, Jaelynn, and Jazlynn; father, John Mares; 3 sisters; Darlene Delvalle, Michelle Mares, and Monique Mares; brother Benjamin Mares; as well as by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Theodora Rael and his grandparents, Bennie and Phyllis Mares, John and Josephine Rael. Viewing is scheduled for Thursday April 19, 2018 from 12pm-3pm at Romero's Family Funeral Home (1805 S. Sheridan) Lakewood, Co. Services will be held Friday April 20, 2018 from 10am-12am at His Love Fellowship (9th & Kalamath) Denver, Co. Followed by a reception at Skyline Hall (158 S. Federal Blvd) Denver, Co.
