Allison Richard Martinez
September 15th, 1961 - January 14th, 2017
Allison Richard Martinez was born in San Luis, Colorado on September 15, 1961 to Johnny E. and Mary U. Martinez where he was raised with his eight brothers and sisters. After graduating from Centennial High School, he went on to serve his country through his enlistment in the U.S. Navy. Allison returned to the states and eventually began a career with Denver Public Schools where he worked for 18 years before needing to retire due to the beginning of health issues that eventually took his life on January 14, 2017. He is survived by his wife Rachel, his children Nerissa (Ivan), Jared, Marcus (Emily), & Amora. He has seven grandchildren, Eliseo, Haziel, Creselia, Ezariah, Carlos, Esias, and Onaliyah. He also is survived by his eight siblings and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by the passing of both parents Johnny and Mary Martinez. Allison was a blessing to all of the lives he touched and his absence will forever change the lives of those who knew and loved him. He is never far from our minds and hearts and he will never be forgotten! A Celebration of the Life of Allison "Mamoo" Martinez will be held on Wednesday January 25, 2017 at Romero's Funeral Home located at 15150 E Iliff Ave. Aurora CO 80014. Visitation will begin @ 10 am followed by a Memorial Ceremony @ 11 am. Allison will then be escorted to Ft. Logan National Cemetery where he will be laid to rest and given Military Honors.
