April 4th, 1956 - June 13th, 2018
Richard Cruz Ledesma, 62, went to be with the Lord on June 13, 2018. Preceded in death by his father, Richard Lopez Ledesma. He is survived by his loving wife, Irene Marie Ledesma; children, Venus Victoria Ledesma, Richard John Cruz Ledesma Jr., Johnny Ledesma and James Ledesma; mother, Ernestine Cruz; sisters, Susan V. Ruiz, Roseanna Apodaca and Sandra Apodaca; grandchildren, Jasmin Marie Ledesma, Phoenix Isabella Clark, lil' Richie Ledesma Jr., Alexis Ledesma, Adrienne Ledesma, Giovanni Ledesma, Jaycee Ledesma, Ezra James Ledesma; great-grandchildren, Raul and Jayden. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends in San Jose, California and Denver, Colorado. Rich, A.K.A Smiley, loved his Stacey Adams, brim (Tango) and wore it all the time. He was from San Jose and moved to Colorado in 1997. He married the love of his life, Irene. He loved going to movies, hiking, working on cars, deep sea fishing and loved Jesus. He loved life, family, nieces and nephews, grandchildren, friends, camaradas, good food and his family. He would help everyone including the guy on the street. He will be missed but went to a better place where he is free from pain and cancer.
