Gloria Sadea Trujillo

Gloria Trujillo passed away on June15, 2018 at Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge Colorado while surrounded by her loving family. Gloria was born Nov. 22, 1947 in Center Colorado to Melecio Atencio and Adela DeHerrera. Gloria was a very special person to her entire family. She will be missed dearly by all who loved her, especially by her husband. She was kind, loving, and generous and had a heart of gold. Whenever anyone visited her home, she went out of her way to make everyone feel welcomed. Gloria loved all her nieces and nephews dearly and did a great job at spoiling them. She always had special treats or goodies for the kids. Several of the babies in the family experienced being fed their first Popsicle by their Aunt Gloria. Gloria was a beautician for most of her life, she enjoyed several hobbies including cooking, crocheting, fishing, going to the casino, and listening to music. She often danced around the house by herself while listening to her favorite music. Gloria was a huge Denver Bronco fan, anyone who knew her, knew that when a Bronco game was on she would be in front of the TV yelling and cheering for the Broncos. During the game we all knew not to interrupt her because we would be ignored and/or scolded. Gloria had enormous love for cats and dogs, she had many beloved pets throughout her lifetime. She leaves behind her beloved pets Tebow, Belle and Smokey. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Melecio & Adela Atencio, Brothers: Modesto, Lorenzo, Robert (Bob), Rudy, Tony & Gerald, also a nephew whom she raised as her son Michael Atencio. Gloria is survived by her loving husband Jose Venancio Trujillo, Sisters: Mary Atencio of Center, Perfelia (Alfonso) Trujillo of Manzanola CO, her very special niece & nephew whom she raised & loved as her own children: LeeAnn (Julian) Jaramillo of Center CO & Damian (Devan) Atencio of Wheat Ridge CO, a very close niece Della (Daniel) Duran of Center CO, Grandson: Erick Atencio of Wheat Ridge CO. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews & sister-in-laws Jane, Beatrice and Linda. Brothers-in-laws Dan and Chris.
