Ricardo Desiderio "Dickey" Chavez Ricardo was born November 29, 1948 Died on November 4, 2013, He was a proud U.S. Veteran also retired from Coca Cola in his home town of Albuquerque, N.M. Where he lived the majority of his life before moving to Colorado for a short time to be cared for by his daughter Yvonne Lopez & her husband Ray. He is preceded in death by his parents Desiderio and Barbara Chavez, brother Joe Chavez, and sister Loraine Chavez. Ricardo is Survived by his wife of 33 years Eliza P Chavez, Sister Trinidad Chavez, 5 children, 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren also many nieces and nephews who loved him very much, also friends and co-workers that will miss him dearly. Ricardo will be laid to rest on his 65th birthday Friday November 29, 2013. A memorial service will take place from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Romero Funeral Chapel, 1805 S. Sheridan Blvd Lakewood CO. Followed by burial with full Military Honors at Ft Logan National Cemetery at 10:30 am Pallbearers will be: Steven Chavez, Rodger Anaya, Jesse Williams, Santiago Williams, Enrique Williams, & William Fry.
