November 9th, 1917 - May 14th, 2013
Mary Barela Gold. Passed away May 14, 2013 at the age of 95. She is survived by son, Dr. David Gold, Austin Gold and daughter, Sandra Berg; 6 grandchildren, Nathan Gold, Shannon Berg, Andrew Berg, Austin J. Gold, Jared Gold and Tammi Gold; 9 great-grandchildren. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and family. Mary worked for the City and County of Denver for 35 years in The Building Department as a secretary. Once she retired she traveled extensively. Her favorite and most memorable trip was going to Rome where she met with the Pope. Visitation, 6-7PM with Rosary, 7PM Wednesday, May 22nd at Romero Funeral Chapel, Denver. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 25th 1:00PM at Sangre De Cristo Catholic Church in San Luis, CO. Interment, San Luis Cemetery, San Luis, CO.
