Mat Luis Flores

Mat Luis Flores, 57, of Arvada, Co., passed away on December 28, 2021. Mat was born on September 24, 1964 to Patricia and Frank Flores in Denver, Co. Mat was an engineer who served the State of Colorado for more than 30 years. Mat retired from the State of Colorado after 27 years of service and continued his career with the City and County of Denver. Mat loved his profession and the work that he did. More importantly, Mat loved his faith and his family. Mat was firm in his Catholic faith. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, an Ambassador of Mary, a lecturer at Guardian Angel's Parish as well as being committed to weekly adoration at St Catherine of Siena parish. Mat also loved the outdoors, including hunting and fishing, as well as the Denver Broncos. Mat was preceded in death by his father, Frank Flores, his aunts Carmen Magana, Lucy Medina and Mary Finken. Mat is survived by his loving wife, Linda Flores, his sons, Emmanuel and Paul Flores, his mother, Patricia Flores, his sister Carla (Russell) Anderson, his aunts Bonnie Blevins and Isabel (Rick) Gomez, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
