William Chavez, 69, of Denver, went home to be with the lord on December 28, 2014. A memorial service will be held Saturday January 17, 2015 at The Romero Family Funeral Home, 4750 Tejon St., Denver, CO 80211. Visitation starts at 12:00 p.m. Rosary and Service will start at 1:00 p.m. A reception is not scheduled. 'Miss Me, But Let Me Go' When I come to the end of the road, And the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom-filled room. Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little-but not too long, and not with your head bowed low. Remember the love that was once shared. Miss me, but let me go. For this is a journey we all must take, and each must go alone. It's all part of the Master's plan, a step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick at heart, go to the friends we know. Bear your sorrow in good deeds. Miss me, but let me go. per request of the family, please make a contribution to the cancer society of your choice instead of sending flowers or a memorial gift.
