EMILIA GARZA DE CASTILLO, 69 Denver resident Emilia Garza de Castillo, 69, passed away on April 19, 2016 at Denver Health Medical Center in Denver surrounded by her loving family. Emilia was born on June 18, 1946 in Guadalupe Victoria San Buenaventura, Coahuila, Mexico the daughter of Adela Gutierrez and Emilio Garza Palos. Emilia was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Emilia loved to cook, crochet and embroidery. She especially loved the time she spent with her grandchildren and family. Survivors include her beloved children/grandchildren Enrique Jaime Castillo of Denver, CO, Maricela Castillo of Denver, CO, Silvia Lopez (Phillip) grandchildren Emiliano, Isabella, Cassandra, Phillip A. and Ethan Lopez of Denver, CO and Marcos Castillo (Andrea) grandchildren Marcos, Rage, Deanna, Xochitl and Emilia E. Castillo of Commerce City, CO. Emilia was preceded in death by her husband Enrique Castillo De La Cruz, parents Emilio Garza Palos and Adela Gutierrez, her brothers Efrain Garza Gutierrez of Mexico and Manuel Garza Gutierrez of Mexico.
