March 19th, 1942 - March 24th, 2015
Franceska Mae Ray 1942-2015 Francy Ray 73 earned her wings and went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 with her family at her side in Englewood, CO. Francy was a true warrior; battling heart disease for over 20 years yet consistently took care of others in need. She was born on the Rosebud Indian Reservation (Sioux Tribe) in South Dakota and lived a full life in Colorado and Missouri. Francy will be most remembered for the unconditional love she shared with so many young and old; good or bad, Francy was always there to whoever needed her. She was a woman who had little but never hesitated to help someone in need. Francy is survived by her son and best friend Joseph Ray, grandson Jacob Ray both of Littleton, CO, her longtime companion Orville Yellow Thunder, her brother Ken and his wife Jeanette, sisters Renee, Percy and Cindy; many generations of nieces and nephews all of who she loved as if they were her own children and many friends. Services will be held on Friday April 3, 2015 at the Romero Family Funeral Home Chapel in Denver, CO as follows: 9:30 am - 10:30 am viewing 10:30 am - 11:15 am Tribal Service In lieu of flowers please help support the Salvation Army Food Banks, Denver Rescue Mission Clothing Banks, and Jesus Saves support for the needy and homeless.
