Romero Funeral Home and Cremations - Denver
Lorraine Loreda Granado
April 16th, 1948 - December 8th, 2019
With profound sadness we announce the passing of Lorraine Granado, our loving and devoted mother and friend to all whose lives she touched, on December 8th, 2019. She left us while sleeping peacefully at her residence surrounded by her family and the love that she nurtured for so long. She was 71 years old. Born in Denver, CO, she is survived by her Mother, Tillie Granado, her sons and daughter; Jim, Paul, Mario, Brittiny and her grandchildren Paul Anthony, Adrianna, Antonio, Brianna, AnaLisa, and Julia. Lorraine spent her entire life working at making this world a more loving, kind, respectful place for all people. Her many accomplishments include a successful class action lawsuit against Asarco, the creation of many youth and family serving organizations and non-profits, and the creation of a park for families in her community. Most of all she loved her family and instilled in her sons strong values that have served them well. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. A Rosary celebrating Lorraine's life will be held at Romero's Funeral home, 47th and Tejon, on Thursday, December 11th at 3PM with a viewing from 2-3 PM. Her funeral will be held at Our Lady of Grace Church, 48th and Clayton, on Friday, December 13th, at 10 AM with her burial immediately following at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
