Romero Funeral Home and Cremations - Denver
Richard "Richie" Piesman
February 26th, 1942 - May 3rd, 2022
Richard "Richie" Piesman passed away on May 3, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Manhattan, New York on February 26, 1942 to Robert Piesman and Sylvia Dunkin. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Sylvia; and a daughter Jessica. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Judy; children Steven (Elisa Vasquez) and Tina (Steve Parker); brother Edward (Toni); niece Mary; grandchildren Julius and Evie; as well as numerous relatives and friends. Richie loved sports, especially the New York Rangers and horse racing. He also loved food, so he really enjoyed mixing those loves when the Rockies scored 7 runs by going to Taco Bell. He enjoyed meeting with his friends, collecting coins, talking on his phone and watching the tv while "resting his eyes." His family described him as a very generous, caring, funny person, who made people laugh with that New York sarcasm, and was very out spoken! He loved being a "grumpar" and a "grandfadder" and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Flowers can be sent to Romero funeral home or donations can be made in his honor to the Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA).
