Silvano Bobian
March 2nd, 1926 - January 21st, 2021
Silvano Bobian earned his angel wings on January 21, 2021. His journey into life began on March 2, 1926 to Jose Alfredo Bobian and Agapita Montoya in Walsenburg, Colorado. He is preceded in death by his siblings; Roy, Adelina, Joe T, Joe M, Narciso, his parents; Jose Alfredo and Agapita, grandson Rafael Bobian and great-grandson, Vincent Ray Bobian. He is survived by his wife Mary Jane Bobian (and had just celebrated seventy-six years of marriage on December 30), his children; Arthur (Margaret), Jennie (Joe), Daniel (Josslyn), George (Elaine),Cathy, Loretta, Lorrena (Gilbert Jr), David (Kathy), Ellen (Gary), and Soledad, along with 80 grandchildren, 159 great grandchildren and 81 great-great grandchildren. Silvano enjoyed creating pretty much anything. He would always say he worked for Jesus by making plaques that represented Him. Silvano had a special salsa, and he was locally famous for his "Silver Bee Salsa". He had many talents such as playing guitar and singing. He was always confident about himself and proud of "his beautiful blue eyes" Silvano had a very good sense of humor, was a hard-working individual, a strong person both physically and mentally, gentle, but with a "wait till your dad gets home" form of discipline that was all he needed. He served our country proudly during World War II. Silvano was in Germany when the war in Europe ended and was on a ship sailing to the South Pacific when Japan surrendered. His ship turned around and brought him home. He earned several medals and commendations for his service to his country. Silvano Bobian will be truly missed by all his family and friends. https://youtu.be/dKdlSHpaHIA Previous Events Viewing JAN 27. 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM (MT) Romero Family Funeral Home & Ft.
