Eloy C. Montoya

Eloy Chris (Cristobal) Montoya Sr. of Denver, CO entered into eternal life at his home on April 20, 2023. Eloy was born on April 9, 1949 in Colmor, New Mexico. He was a veteran of the US Navy and after he serving his country became a professional Barber. He cut hair for over 44 years and had his own barber shop, "The Hair Connection", and was also owner of "The Cutting Board". He was a people person and was "a talker". He loved talking with his clients and everyone he met. Eloy was always up to something and loved traveling, fishing, and camping. He was also an avid bowler for many years and always wished he could get a 300. Eloy loved having fun, being with his family; that he loved with all of his heart. He was one of a kind and will truly be missed by all that had the opportunity to know him. He is proceeded in rest by Father; Ben Montoya Sr, Mother; Juanita Montoya, Grandparents; Andres Montoya Sr, and Epifana Montoya, Wife, Joan Montoya, Son; Eloy Chris Jr Montoya. He is survived by Brothers; Eddie Montoya, and Ben Montoya, Wife; Mary Vigil Montoya, Son; Wayne (Pam) Montoya, Daughter; Sonia (Lloyd) Reyes, Grandchildren; Christopher Montoya, Andres Montoya, Brandon Montoya, Danielle Montoya, Raven Montoya, Felicya Reyes and Layla Reyes. Eloy lived life to the fullest and made the best of every moment. His motto was "I'll rest when I die" and he lived all he could even up to his last breath.
