Mary Ascencion Lucero (Vigil) January 9, 1947 ~ May 6, 2023 Mary was born in Trinidad, Colorado on January 9, 1947 to her parents, Joe & Mary (Lujan) Vigil. She was the sixth of nine children born into the family. She attended and graduated from Trinidad High School in Trinidad, CO. She enjoyed Bingo, gambling and fishing. She is preceded in death by Husband Joseph Lucero; Parents Mary & Joe Vigil; Brothers George, Manuel Charles and Anthony Vigil; Sister Dolores Barela; Grandparents Jose & Rita Lujan, Manuel & Maria Vigil; Aunts & Uncles, Stephie & Alfred, Annie & Ambrose, Eva & Candida, Phobe & Tony and Margaret; numerous cousins. Those who she is survived by and will cherish her loving memory are, Son David Lucero, Daughter Jodine Lucero; Brother Roger Vigil; Sisters Rita Romero, Charlene Roybal; Grandchildren, Michael, Andi, Richard, Robert and Raelynn; Great Grandchildren, Julian, Josiah, Aria, Mary Rose, Isabella, Noah and Willow; Uncle Jack Mc Nichols, and numerous extended family and friends. Memorial Service will be on Friday, May 26, 2023 with receiving family and frineds at 12pm and Memorial Service at 1:00pm, at Romero Funeral Home Denver, 4750 Tejon St, Denver, CO. A Reception will be Knights of Columbus, Mississippi and Federal Blvd, Denver.
