Robert Lee Beins

Robert Lee Beins, age 66, of Denver, Colorado passed away at his home on May 25, 2023, after a long battle with lung disease and cancer. Robert (Bob) is survived by his wife of 35 years, Paula; his children Michael, Liz, Jessica, Chris, April and Denise. Forever cherished and remembered as Grandpa Bozo by his grandchildren and great grandchildren Aimee, Abigail, Michaela, Zack, Aubre, Fino, Nick, Thomas, Jasmine, Zo, Brielle, Diem and his great grandchildren Dymitri, Leya, Lala, Illiana and Lesandro. Also survived by his brothers Brad, Barry and Bill. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Billie, his mother in law, Pauline and his grandchildren, Alana and Antonio. Bob was a kind and funny soul. He will be missed and remembered by many people whose lives he touched. Bob was the oldest of four boys. He loved to do pranks and make crazy bets. He went as far as enlisting into the military for one of those bets. He had dreamed to become a firefighter, but he had already enlisted in the Army before that dream could come true. He served for 3 years as an Army medic in Germany. He was a true Colorado sports fan. He loved watching the Rockies on television even when they weren't playing their best and never wanted to miss a game. He liked playing golf until he became too ill to play. After that, he enjoyed watching golf for hours. He loved to tell stories and spend time with his friends and family. Bob, we will always love and miss you, but we are happy that you are home free and able to breathe. Until we meet again. Family, friends and others whose life Bob touched are invited to Romero Funeral Home, 1805 S. Sheridan Blvd, Lakewood, from 1pm-4pm on Friday, June 16, 2023 to celebrate his life. Bob will be laid to rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W. Kenyon Ave, Denver, on Friday, July 28, 2023 at 10am.
