Rose Marie Reyes

On Sunday, April 19, 2020, Rose Marie Reyes, a loving mother, and grandmother of four children, ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter, passed away at the age of 76. Rose was born on August 6, 1943, in Alamosa, Colorado. She attended South High School in Pueblo, Colorado. Rose was a kind soul to everyone she met. She was loved and admired by everyone who knew her. She loved to be out and about whether it was working or spending time with her friends and family. Her favorite pastime was talking and having conversations, even with strangers. Rose was especially close to her granddaughter Audicee Reyes. Rose will preceded in death by her father, Ernest C. Chavez, her mother May-Me Valdez and siblings Michael Madril (Berenice) and Josephine Martinez. She is survived by her four children: Alan Robert Lucero(Susan), Consuelo Rosario Lucero, Tad Brian Lucero(Monica), Tina Marie Reyes (Artie) and her brother Richard Madril, sister-in-law, Charlotte Madril. A viewing will be held on Thursday May 7, 2020, at Romero's Funeral Home in Lakewood, Co. at 1805 S Sheridan Blvd., Lakewood, Co. 80232, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. (Masks are required along with a 10 person maximum) Private funeral service will be held on Friday May 8, 2020. Because of COVID-19 only immediate family will be allowed to attend the funeral in person.
