Benny Gee (Gonzales III)

Rubel Benito Gonzales III, known by his family and friends as Benny or Benny Gee, passed away Sunday, August 6th, 2023 at the age of 35. Benny was a devoted Christian, born in Denver, Colorado on August 10, 1987, to his parents Lorraine Mora and Ben Gonzales. He has one son Benito Gonzales (Amaryss), by whom he was proudly made a grandfather nicknamed, "Pompo" to Amari in July of this year. Benny will always be known as an incredibly brave, strong willed, and loving man. Able to conquer living a life that only he could live, full of ambition, an intellectual madman if you will, blessed with imagination, humor, kindness and grace. He made the most out of every moment, never sitting idle, always searching for his next grand adventure. He was charming, imaginative, comedic, and enjoyed being the moment that turned into our memories, which will be shared for lifetimes. His laughter, intellectual conversation, ability to love, and charismatic personality will be missed dearly by many, who know he is at peace, and onto God's next assignment. Benny was survived by, his mother Lorraine (Joey), father Rubel Benito Gonzales II aka Ben (Marina), son Benito (Amaryss), granddaughter; Amari, and mother of his son; Brittany. His blood siblings with respective nieces and nephews, include Veronica (Liliana), Crystal (Alora, Alijah), Juanita (Kayla, Lorenzo, Elena, Hannah), and Sabrina. As well as his siblings through marriage and partnership with respective spouses, including nephews and nieces, Gianna, Joey Jr. (Stephanie); (Luciano, Jaya, Jayliyah), Adrienne (Quincy), (Lexi, Landon, Londyn), Lorraine, Shantel, and Christina. He is also survived by many Aunts and Uncles and too many cousins to count. Benny touched the hearts of everyone he encountered. He will live on through their love and memories. His services will be held at Romero Funeral Home located at 4750 Tejon St, Denver, CO 80211 on Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, reception will immediately follow at 400 W. 48th Ave., Denver CO 80216, where food and drinks will be provided, (Alcohol is not allowed, per the facility).
