Max Gutierrez
December 2nd, 1964 - September 20th, 2023
Max Gutierrez Jr. aka Wedo, Went home to be with the Lord on September 20, 2023 at the age of 58. Born December 2, 1964 in Denver Colorado, Wedo spent most of his life in Denver where he graduated from Kennedy High School in 1984. One of his happiest moments came when he married the love of his life, Marisa. He was immensely proud of the beautiful life and family they built together. Anyone who visited their home was greeted with warmth, care, food, fun, and lots of laughter. Max’s greatest joy in life were his children Alexis, Maxi, Alejandro, Aaliyah and Ronni whom he loved fiercely. Being a dad came naturally – he was always their greatest cheerleader, never missed an opportunity to spend time together. He prioritized family over all else, and his unconditional love for Marisa and his children was always apparent. Not to mention his favorite chair buddies Milo the dog and Mittens the cat. He was happiest when he was sharing laughter and great stories with friends and family. Wedo was also a deeply passionate person especially when it came to cooking, sports, taking care of his lawn and house, listening to Mexican music, traveling with his family and making memories. Wedo is survived by his wife Marisa, his children Alexis, Maxi, Alejandro, Aaliyah and Ronni. Blended grandchildren Gigi, Nyah, Annaleah, Lijah, Khlani & Angelo. He is also survived by his sister Martha Corral, brother’s Miguel (wife Raffaella) Marquez, Manuel (wife Laura) Marquez, Jose aka Cali (wife Annette) Gutierrez along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
