Joanne E. Johnson, 80, passed away at home with family by her side on Dec. 3rd, 2020, in Mesa Az. A memorial service will be held graveside Friday, Dec. 18th, 2020, at City of Mesa Cemetery at 11:00 am. Joanne was born in Britt Iowa on June 14th, 1940, to Robert and Alvina Holck. She married R. Allen Johnson in 1958 and moved to Arizona in 1961. She is survived by her children Kirt, Kimberly and Trent (Jamie). Her grandchildren Aaron, Andrea, Dylan, Timothy, Mark (Ray) Casey and Jessica (Kim Stefanie and Savannah (Trent). Great grandchildren Rory and Jesse (Aaron) Adaline, Zoey and Mavis (Tim), Madilyn and Clayton (Stefanie) and Jaxxon (Savannah), Siblings James and Darrell Holck and Mary Jane Slater. She is preceded in death by her husband Allen, son Raymond, her parents, sister Janice, brother Leon. Joanne dedicated her life to family. She was a loving wife, mother, sister aunt, sister-in-law, Gram and G.G.. Family was very important to her. She had a good sense of humor and a quick wit. Was willing to give a hug, shoulder, listening ear, swat on the backside or a five-finger lift whatever was needed. HEAVEN GOT AN EARLY CHRISTMAS PRESENT!
