Henry P. Koebig
August 15th, 1935 - November 14th, 2020
Henry P. Koebig, Jr. (Pop) passed away on November 14, 2020, in Phoenix Az. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy Koebig. Henry was born in Providence, RI on August 15, 1935 to Henry P. Koebig, Sr. and Emily Beatrice Fitton. Henry proudly served in the US Army and was honorably discharged in 1960. Henry relocated to Arizona from Florida in the late 1970’s. After his retirement from the HVAC industry, he owned and operated Higley Thrift Store and Tweetybird Aviary. He was an avid swap meet participant; buying and selling throughout the country. Henry loved the Lord and worshiped at Victory Tabernacle in Gilbert AZ. Survivors include wife, Jan and his sister, Beatrice Hennessy. He also leaves behind niece, Susan and nephew, Bill and their families. Pop is survived by his extended blended family; 7 step children/spouses, 20 grand children, 26 great grand children and 1 great-great grandchild. Thank you to Hospice of Hope for their care. Thank you to Rose Chapel Legacy Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. As a caregiver, Henry was an advocate for Alzheimer’s research.
