Andrew Hugh DeCocq

It is with a heavy heart we announce the tragic passing of a beloved husband, father, son, brother, cousin, nephew and friend, Andrew Hugh DeCocq, 40, passed away on November 14th. Andrew was born on May 29, 1981, to Rustin and Jeri (Gerard), in San Antonio, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Oliva DeCocq; son, Maximus; daughter, Elektra; and stepson, Forrest. He is survived by his mother, Jeri; sisters: Diane (Kathy), Victoria (Dalles), and Cassandra (Travis); stepsister, Carmen Watz; stepbrothers, Christopher and Jack (Rachael) Watz; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Rustin DeCocq and stepfather, Mark Watz. Andrew graduated class of 1999 from Dobson High School. Andrew loved to fix things and work with his hands, setting the stage for his small business Air Fit Air Conditioning, which he founded in Gilbert, AZ. Andrew did everything he could to help people and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He loved his family fiercely. He was a magnetic force whose commanding presence could not be ignored, and he brought that enthusiasm to whatever he set his mind to. Services will be held on December 1, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home, 1374 N.
