Dionicio “Nicho” Contreras passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 21, 2019. Nicho was born in Texas but lived his life in Gilbert and Chandler, AZ. Nicho is survived by his wife of many years Peggy, sons Don and Michael Contreras, Bennie, Freddie and Raymond Mendoza, daughters Betty Ramirez, Flora Guerriero and Sandy Cantu along with a great number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nicho was a hardworking farmer and retired as a groundskeeper from a local golf course. He enjoyed fishing, camping, spending time with his family and going to the casino. Nicho will be remembered for his jokes, witty humor, his funny stories and his great smile. He will forever live in the hearts of all he left behind.
