Gilbert Vasquez Gutierrez, Jr. “Tito” went to be with our Lord and Savior on May 27, 2020. He was born to Gilbert and Angie Gutierrez on November 27, 1964 in Tempe, Arizona (La Victoria). He moved to Mesa, Arizona at 5 years of age and lived there the rest of his life. Tito was preceded in death by his children Jessica Amelia, Manuel, and Gabriel, his father, Gilbert, his grandparents, Julian and Manuela Vasquez, Bartolo Gutierrez and Rosa Q. Torres. Also, his Uncles Ernesto and Roman Vasquez, Freddie Gutierrez, and his cousin Freddie Gutierrez, Jr., and his great nephew Jacen Cain Lopez and great niece Regina Delilah Dominguez. Tito leaves behind his nine children, Angel Gutierrez Judy (Travis), Valerie Gutierrez (Val Ramos), Anthony, Aaron, Anjelica, Gilbert III, Joshua, Adam, and Isreal Gutierrez. His mother Angie V. Gutierrez, his siblings Angelita, Alice Barbari (Don), Lorenzo, and Rosemary. His thirteen grandchildren, Jaden, Priscilla, Santino, Arrylia, Eva, Monroe, Calistra, Roserae, Gabriel, Emiliano, Kamilo, Zaniyah, and Eliana. Tito leaves behind, many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and close friends who will miss him dearly. Tito attended Adams Elementary, Powell Junior High, and Westwood High all in Mesa, Arizona. He excelled in Baseball as a teenager. He enjoyed camping, boating, and fishing. Tito had a passion for classic cars and dogs. He loved listening to music and spending time with his family and friends. Tito always had a smile and enjoyed good times. He believed in helping people and trying to lift emotions during trying times. For Christmas Eve, he would provide a Santa to entertain all his kids, nieces and nephews, and many cousins. He loved the Holidays and their traditions. Gilbert worked mainly on odd jobs most of his life, mostly roofing. He worked as an Uber driver in his later life and enjoyed that to the fullest. He will be dearly missed by all. He fought the good fight. Service will be held on Friday, June 5, 2020 at 10:00 AM, Immediate Family, and at 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM for the Public. Rose Chapel Funeral Home 1130 S. Horne, Mesa, Arizona 85204. Funeral to follow at 1:30 PM, Mesa Cemetery.
