August 27th, 1936 - December 8th, 2021
Arlyn L. Egger, age 85, passed away on December 8, 2021, in Chandler, AZ. Art was born in Eau Claire, WI to Oscar O. Egger and Bernice I. VandeBerg. He graduated in 1954 from Fond du Lac High School, attended the University of Wisconsin and served four years in the United States Air Force as an Airman. He married Wendy Anderson in Madison, WI in 1964 and lived in various cities in Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, California and resided the last 35 years in Arizona. Art worked in finance, real estate and for the past 20 years part time for the United States Census Bureau as a Field Representative. He enjoyed traveling, reading, cards, puzzles, photographs, his iPad and especially spending time laughing with family and friends. Art is survived by his wife of 57 years, Wendy Egger, his children; Susan (Egger Barrera), Nancy (Reider), his siblings; James, JoAnn (Wollersheim Hutchings), Linda (Hintz), grandchildren; Eleanor (Fortgang), Abigail (Reider), Audrey (Barrera) and George (Reider). Plans are underway for a memorial service in Wisconsin summer of 2022.
