Paul Michael McKenna

Paul Michael McKenna, 71 of Buckeye, Arizona passed away on December 15, 2019 with his family near his side. Paul was born on January 11, 1948 in Yokohama, Japan to James O. and Elvera L. McKenna. Being of a military family, Paul traveled many places throughout his younger years. Paul honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Viet-Nam era where he was awarded the Silver Star, Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. Paul attended and graduated from Creighton University after which he resided in Maryland. In 1993 Paul made his home in Phoenix, Arizona where he met the love of his life, Twyla, they married and raised their family here. Paul will be greatly missed and forever loved by his family. Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 8 years, Twyla S. McKenna; loving son, Michael Kusen and loving daughter, Lori Meadows; five dear grandchildren, Alexandra, Nicole, Anthony, Adam and Christopher; Two loving sisters, and two loving brothers; fifteen nieces, nephews and many friends. Paul is preceded in death by both his parents, and two brothers, James and Kevin. The United State Army Military Honor Guard Ceremony and Committal Prayers will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, January 24, 2019 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix, AZ.
