Edward B. Eagan, 75, died September 8, 2021, with his family by his side in Mesa, Arizona. Ed was born on August 16, 1946 in Frostburg, Maryland to the late Edward and Hilda (Smith) Eagan. Ed married Betty Endress on March 18, 1978 and they raised their children in Freeport, Illinois. He graduated from Beall High School in Frostburg, Maryland in 1965. Ed served in the US Air Force from 1965 to 1969 and was stationed at Vandenberg AFB, California. He retired from Kelly Springfield Tire Co. in Freeport, IL in 2007 after 30 years of service. After retirement Ed and Betty moved to Mesa, Arizona in March of 2018 where he lived the rest of his life to the fullest. He joined the softball team, played pickle ball daily, enjoyed golfing and bowling with his friends. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Betty Eagan, their children; Kerri (Eric) Kastle, Jennifer (Lloyd) Noyes, Chad (Alyson) Eagan, Amy (TJ) Reid, his siblings; William (Cathy) Eagan, Margaret Lloyd, Patricia (Steve) Wilhelm and James Eagan, sister-in-laws; Barbara Moss Bazala, Nancy (Jim) Marsh, Bonnie Endress, brother-in-law; Kenneth Endress, 10 grandchildren (Kandice, Nicole, Morgan, Bailey, Skyler, Emma, Emilee, Peyton, Kyli, and Chase), 6 great grandchildren and one on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents; Edward and Hilda Eagan, brother; John Eagan, sister; Linda Eagan, and numerous other family members. A memorial service will be held Friday, September 17, 2021 at 1:30 pm at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix, Arizona.
