Carlos "Charlie" Serna Vital

Carlos “Charlie” Serna Vital, age 78, passed away on August 24, 2021 Charlie retired as a Truckdriver with Safeway after 30+ years and in retirement enjoyed watching old westerns, the Arizona Cardinals, but what he enjoyed most was spending time with his family and being a Foodie (in his own right). He dedicated his Life to being a Loving Father, Brother, Grandfather and Friend. He leaves behind his children: Michael (Delia), Teresa (Alan); his siblings: Manuel, Pete, Lupe, Petra, Margie, Ruben and Rosa; 10 Grandchildren, 14 Great-Grandchildren and many extended family and friends. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents: Manuel and Isabel; wife: Mary Lou; son: Mark and brothers: Calistro and Juan. Charlie will be missed tremendously by all who knew him. Viewing will be held on Friday, September 17th, 2021 from 6:00pm – 9:00pm with a Rosary beginning at 7:30pm at Legacy Funeral Home; 1374 N. Arizona Avenue, Chandler, Arizona 85225. Charlie will be chaperoned by his inurned son, Mark, and both laid to rest with a gravesite blessing on Saturday, September 18th, 2021 at 10:00am at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery; 2033 N. 48th Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85008.
