Dorothy E. McSweeney (nee Kalkowski) 91 of Mesa, AZ went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 8, 2020, peacefully at home, surrounded by family. Dorothy, or “Dottie”, as she was called by her family and friends, was born to John and Mary Kalkowski of Chicago, Illinois. She moved to Mesa, AZ in 1989 with her husband of 69 years, Edward or “Eddie”. She is survived by her husband Edward; daughters Ellen, Linda and Laurie; by her son Daniel; her loving sisters; Barbara, Mary Lou and sister-in-law’s; Maryann and Joan. Dorothy was a proud grandmother of 9 grandchildren; Charlie, Erica, Darren, Alison, Stacy, Jimmy, Lindsey, Nichole and Sean; along with 6 great grandchildren; Marissa, Marc, Kale, Carson, Chandler and Finley. Forever remembered by many, many, nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her beloved daughter-in-law Marilynn and brothers: George, Donald, Robert and John.
