On Monday, August 12th, 2019, Jake Andrew Sibley took his life after a long struggle with mental illness. Although their hearts are heavy, the family is at peace knowing he is wrapped in the loving arms of his Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ. Born May 28th, 1997, son of Brenda and Travis, older brother to Megan, Luke and Brooklyn, Jake was studying music at Brandeis University in Massachusetts. A kind soul deeply concerned with the well-being and care of others, Jake was an avid reader, composer and performer whose infectious love of music filled his soul. The family will be receiving guests at 10:00 A.M. on August 17th, 2019 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Red Mountain Institute at 7126 E McKellips Rd Mesa, AZ 85207. The funeral will begin at 11 A.M. followed by a graveside service at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jake’s honor may be given to either: Rosie’s House: A Music Academy for Children at www.rosieshouse.org or to Rosie’s House, 1875 N.
