Judith "Judie" Ann Koppelman
August 19th, 1945 - June 4th, 2022
Judith Ann Koppelman, 76, passed away peacefully on the morning of June 4, 2022 at Hospice of the Valley – Dobson Home. Judith is survived by her husband of 56 years, Dean Koppelman; her two children, Eric Koppelman and Taryn (Brian) Scholl; her three grandchildren, Avry, Devin and Kennedy; her sister Nancy (James) Rice; her in-laws, nieces and nephews; and her many beloved friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Maxine Siemers; and her brother, Jeffrey Siemers. Judith was born on August 19, 1945 in Kenmare, ND. She grew up in Bowbells, ND and graduated from Bowbells High School in 1963. She attended Valley City State, received a bachelor’s degree in education from Moorhead State University and a master’s degree in special education from Minot State University. Judith was a respected public-school teacher for more than forty years in North Dakota and Minnesota. In retirement, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends in San Tan Valley, AZ and Lake Metigoshe, ND. A Celebration of Life service has been scheduled for Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 9am at 264 W. Loma Vista St., Gilbert, AZ 85233 for close family and friends.
