Shirley Ann Esposito

Shirley Ann Esposito of Maricopa, Arizona gained her wings on May 28, 2023, at the age of 79 after a brief battle with lung cancer. Shirley was born on July 1, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois to James William Snyder and Helen Teresa Barcikowski. Shirley attended school in Hillside, Illinois and graduated from Proviso West High School in 1961. On April 20, 1963, Shirley married Ralph F. Esposito and together they raised their three sons. Her interests included spending time with her children and grandchildren, who meant the world to her. She also enjoyed traveling and spent many years working in the airline industry, where she later retired in 2021. Shirley will be fondly remembered by her three sons, Guy and his fiancé Kim, Ralph and Michael; as well as her four grandchildren, Andrea, Robby, Anthony and Nicolas Esposito; one brother Don Snyder and his wife, Winona; one nephew and three nieces. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, James and Helen Snyder; one brother, James Snyder; an infant daughter, Baby Esposito; and the father of her children, Ralph Esposito. A celebration of life will be held at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois on June 27, 2023, with time to be determined.
