Edward Patrick Burke, Jr. 1932-2024 Edward P. Burke, Jr., 91, originally from Trenton, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home with family in Chandler, Arizona on Sunday, March 10, 2024. Jeanette Burke, his loving wife of 66 years was by his side along with his devoted son Edward Burke, who patiently and lovingly cared for him until his final moments. In his youth, Mr. Burke was a well-known local Trenton athlete, competing in several basketball, baseball and soccer leagues. He served his country in the armed forces as a radio operator, then served his community as a Trenton Firefighter. Mr. Burke was predeceased by his parents, Edward Patrick Burke, Sr. and Florence Burke, his sisters Veronica Schrader and Lillian Drake, brothers-in-law, Lawrence Schrader and William Drake. He is survived by his loving wife Jeanette Burke, his three daughters Patricia Burke, Debra Stout (Ken) and Lori Burke Natale and his son Edward Burke. Mr. Burke is also survived by an ever-growing family including six grandchildren Tyler Shea (Michael), Sean Micai (Alessandra), Gabrielle and Hannah Natale, Connor and Matt Stout as well as 2 great-granddaughters Sienna and Audriana with a third great-granddaughter due in May. He was a man of great integrity and wit with the strongest devotion to those dear to him. He continues to live on through our thriving family. An extraordinary husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather; our hero gone yet never forgotten.
